About Jetray Technology
Who we are: a custom battery pack maker in Shenzhen
Jetray Technology is a custom battery pack manufacturer based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. We design, develop and produce rechargeable lithium battery packs that are built around a customer's device rather than selected from a catalogue. Work starts with your mechanical envelope, your current profile and your charging scheme; the pack configuration follows from those inputs.
Customers come to us at different stages. Some have a finished product and need a pack that fits it. Others are still at industrial design and want the enclosure, connector and BMS layout settled before tooling. Both routes run through the same engineering process, and both end in a written specification before production begins.
As a battery pack manufacturer in China, we sit inside the Shenzhen electronics supply base, which keeps cells, protection ICs, connectors and tooling within reach of the factory. That matters less for price than for iteration speed: a change to a housing or a wire route can be evaluated without waiting on long logistics.
Scale and history
Shenzhen Jetray Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2012 and has 15+ years of experience in lithium battery pack design and production. The factory covers 20,000+ sqm, and the team numbers 200+ employees across engineering, production, quality and sales support.
Products are supplied to 50+ countries and regions. That spread shapes how we work: packs shipped across borders need transport documentation, labeling and packaging that hold up at each border, and the same disciplines apply whatever the destination.
Growth has been in capability rather than in headline size. The engineering group works on the same site as production, so a design question raised at the desk can be answered on the line. For an OEM program, that short path between drawing and build is often the difference between a workable pack and a redesigned one.
What we make and who we make it for
We produce rechargeable lithium battery packs for portable electronics, medical and industrial equipment, robots and AGVs, light mobility and energy storage. Each of those segments puts different demands on a pack, and the differences show up in the specification rather than in the marketing.
Medical equipment typically calls for predictable behavior over the service life and a documented safety case. Industrial equipment and AGVs need packs that survive vibration, repeated charge and discharge, and field service by technicians who are not battery specialists. Light mobility puts a premium on weight and pack shape. Portable electronics compress everything into the smallest possible volume.
Our energy storage batteries cover packs built for stationary and semi-stationary use, where the priorities shift toward calendar life, thermal behavior and the interface with the system's power electronics. On the design side, the process is set out on our battery pack manufacturer page: cell selection, series and parallel configuration, BMS definition, mechanical layout and validation, each confirmed against your device before release.
Configurations are written in standard notation. A 3S2P pack, for example, places three cells in series and two in parallel; series count sets voltage, parallel count sets capacity, and both are checked against your current profile and the physical space available.
Quality system and certifications
Jetray is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified, and holds National High-Tech Enterprise status. We also hold multiple utility model patents covering pack construction and assembly details. Our certifications cover the management system and specific models, so the documents that apply to your order are confirmed per model.
Quality control runs from incoming cells through to outgoing inspection. Cells are checked on receipt, assemblies are inspected at defined stages, and finished packs are tested against the agreed specification before packing. Records follow the order, so a question raised months after delivery can be traced back to the batch and the test data.
UN38.3, IEC 62133 and MSDS documents can be confirmed and provided for specific models — tell us the model you are buying and we will confirm which documents cover it. The same applies to any declaration your market requires: it is agreed in the project specification, not added at shipment. More detail on how we handle testing and documentation sits on our quality and certifications page.
